CUTE AS A BUTTON APRIL INSPIRATION

Hello There My Crafty Friends,
I would like to share a card I made with y'all for the

I love the 'Crazy Cat Lady' and her purr-friends.
She reminds me of my daughter-in-love and how she loves cats.
Well, so does my son...but they love all animals. :)

...For This Card - Step By Step...
White cardstock for the card base.
Cut a piece of brown paper with the frame die.
Used the same frame die to cut out the image...but cut the deco part off.
Attached the image to the frame die cut with tape.
Attached the pink marbled cardstock to the center of the card with tape.
My hubby had used black paracord and took the other colors out of the center...
You can see where some of the colored cord went...of course I saved it to use. :)
Using two pieces of cord, I twisted them and glued them on the side of the frame.
Glued the ends of the cord behind the pink marbled cardstock.
Attached the frame to the center of the card with tape.
Made a bow with the two pieces of cord using the bow making tool.
Then glued the bow onto the side of the frame over the cord.
I had to add plenty of clear glue in the center of the bow, etc., to keep it together.

STAMPRINTS DT - Post 2

Hello My Crafty Friends,
This is my second post today for the Stamprints DT.

I just had to color the chicken too, as ya need a chicken to go with the rooster. :)
If you missed seeing my rooster card, it's HERE.

...For This Card - Step By Step...
White cardstock for the card base.
Cut the image out with a frame die.
Cut two pieces of brown cardstock with the same die.
Used a larger die of the set to cut out a piece of orange cardstock.
Attached the orange paper to the card with tape.
I don't have a sized die in between those two...so here's what I did.
Taped a piece of the brown paper beneath the image, slightly left and up.
Taped a piece of the brown paper beneath the image, slightly right and down.
Then taped the image to the center of orange paper.

It kinda reminds me of a postcard. I may have to make another one look vintage. :)
